Beyonce - Successo decennale

La RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) ha stabilito che tra tutti gi artisti, Beyonce è la cantante che negli ultimi dieci anni ha venduto di più ed ha ottenuto più certificazioni.
L'artista in totale ha ottenuto 64 certificazioni, seguita al secondo posto da Michael Jackson con 44 certificazioni.

The Game alla Aftermath contro le sue vecchie etichette discografiche

The Game ha fatto causa alle case discografiche "Koch" e "Fast Life Records".
Il rapper, attualmente tornato sotto contratto con la "Aftermath", aveva in precedenza registrato quattro dischi con i seguenti titoli:
-Untold story
-Untold story vol. 2
-Untold story vol. 2 chopped & screwed
-G.A.M.E.
Purtroppo, secondo il parere dei legali del rapper di Los Angeles, le etichette non avevano diritti sui lavori dell'artista e sono quindi state accusate di violazione del diritto d’autore.


Eminem - Relapse 2

Dopo l'uscita di "Refill", in attesa dell'attesissimo album "Relapse 2", Eminem ha annunciato una sostanziale variazione nel modo di scrivere dei suoi testi.
Il rapper di Detroit ha infatti dichiarato di non voler più continuare a fare canzoni troppo "scherzose", destinate ad essere presto dimenticate dal pubblico, bensì dei pezzi da lui definiti più "maturi" con l'intenzione di catturare gli ascoltatori.


Cypress Hill - Nuovo album ad aprile

I Cypress Hill hanno annunciato un nuovo album in uscita il 6 Aprile dal titolo "Rise Up".
Il disco, anticipato dall'ononimo singolo, ha visto anche il contributo di Snoop Dogg, nominato "direttore creativo" della Priority Record.
Nell'album, oltre a Tom Morello - che ha partecipato alla realizzazione del primo singolo - sono previsti featuring con Slash e Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park)


Faith Evans contro Hollywood


A quanto pare Faith Evans, ex-moglie del amatissimo rapper Notorious B.I.G., è stata citata in giudizio da una società di videoproduzione hollywoodiana.
Il motivo di tutto ciò sta nel fatto che la cantante, a seguito di una condizione economica non certo soddisfacente, avrebbe proposto la pubblicazione di alcune riprese riguardanti la vita del compianto marito Biggie.
In seguito però Faith - che è riuscita a sanare le proprie finanze,in seguito ad un nuovo contratto discografico - ha deciso di rinunciare all'affare ed è quindi stata querelata con una richiesta di risarcimento di circa cinque milioni di dollari. Amir - Pronto al peggio


"Pronto al peggio" sarà il titolo del nuovo album di Amir, uno dei migliori artisti dell'attuale scena Hip Hop italiana.
Dopo un anteprima del pezzo "Game Over", disponibile in freedownload su Youpush.it, è stato estratto dall'album il singolo "Le mie illusioni".
Numerose sono collaborazioni di artisti italiani e non, tra cui: Entics, Daniele Vit, Two Fingerz, Frank Siciliano, La Miss e S.A.S.
Le produzioni non sono da meno, infatti, Amir è riuscito a coinvolgere nel progetto alcuni dei migliori beatmaker in circolazione tra cui: Don Joe, Dj Shocca e Cesar.
Non ci resta che avere ancora un po' di pazienza...

Nella serata di venerdì il palco dell'Ariston è stato calcato dall'ex membro degli Articolo 31, Dj Jad. La vecchia spalla di J.Ax ha affiancato Fabrizio Moro durante la sua esibizione con il brano "Non è una canzone"; da notare che gli scratch all'interno del pezzo sono frutto dello stesso Jad.
Ricordiamo inoltre che è da poco uscito il suo nuovo album dal titolo "Il Sarto".
